Setting Item Status Thresholds
A feature for setting statuses for review items based on the number of votes received is available while creating or editing reviews. This functionality enables automatic status mapping for review items when the number of Approved and Rejected votes reaches a certain value during the review.
The default threshold value for Approved and Rejected items is All. This means that an automatic status mapping is performed for an item when the review is closed if all review participants voted the same (approve or reject) for that item. The review status of the item is set to the value specified for each threshold value on the Settings tab.
If all review participants do not provide the same vote, then the status of the item is set to Undecided or Not Reviewed when the review is closed. Rules for enabling automatic status mapping are provided in the Settings section while creating or editing a review item: If you select or clear the All checkbox for any of the items, you can set a specific number as a threshold value for that item (vote). For example, if you set the threshold value for Approved votes to 2, and you select the Set to Approved status' value for this threshold, the status of any review item will automatically be set to Approved at the end of the review if two reviewers accept the item and no reviewer rejects it.
The following scenarios define the working of these rules:
