Locking a Tracker
System administrators can lock trackers to prevent modifications of the deployed trackers and ensure safe deployment without compromising the data. Regardless of the permissions you hold, you cannot modify a locked tracker.
To lock a tracker:
1. Click on the Trackers tab.
2. Select a tracker.
3. Click 
and select Configure. The Tracker Configuration page opens.

Considerations when locking the trackers
• Deployed trackers are locked automatically. To disable automatic locking of deployed trackers, set the "enableAutomaticTrackerLocking" config to false in the Application Configuration. For more information, see "deployment" section.
• Trackers inherited from deployed trackers are not locked automatically.
• Once a tracker is locked, the Save and Delete options on the Tracker Configuration page are not available.
• You can unlock the trackers in a project all at once using the Unlock Trackers option on the Project Configuration page. For more information, see Configuring Project Options.
