Trigger State Transition
This workflow action is available in CB-10.0 or newer version, and allows to trigger a new state transition for the subject item from within other :
Triggering a state transition is very similar to Update item properties, but whereas
• Update item properties does not allow to change the status of the subject item,
• This action requires to update the item's Status field!
You can optionally also
• Define a Condition, when to trigger the state transition.
• Update More ... field values along with the Status, e.g. Assigned to, etc.
The new state transition is triggered after the triggering state transition or workflow event has been processed.
