Team Management
Team Management is a powerful tool designed to enhance collaboration within an organization by allowing for the mapping of organization teams. You can distribute work items to teams across different projects.
Assigning Work Items to Teams
Team Management is available in newly created projects. In each project, there is a default Team tracker called Teams. The teams are the items of this tracker.
There is a new Team field in each work tracker. By default, these fields can reference any item from a Teams tracker in the project. To assign a work item to a specific team, that team must be added to the Team field.
Team Members
Team memberships can be dynamically managed based on work item assignments. When a work item is assigned to a team, the assignee becomes a member of that team automatically. The membership is temporary and ceases when the work item is no longer assigned to the team. Statistics on the planner and release stats page reflect this dynamic membership rule, ensuring data is current and accurate.
Configuration for Existing Projects

1. Create a Team tracker to define the necessary teams.
2. Add a Team field to each tracker to which the various teams can be assigned. Suggested configuration:
