Release Management with Codebeamer
Overview
You can use Release Management to track different versions of your project, including planned and actual release schedules and issues to be resolved in each version. You can track software development projects or any projects with different milestones. For example, in a construction project you can track milestones like groundwork, construction of walls or roofing.
Release Management includes the following:
Defining releases: You can create, update, and delete project milestones. You can place milestones into sprints .
Managing the lifecycle of a release: You can track progress towards statuses such as Released or End of Life.
Associating work items with releases: You can link work items such as tasks, bugs, or user stories to releases or sprints in which they were detected, or will be resolved .
Managing the lifecycles of work items: The status of work items is used to determine the status of releases.
