Codebeamer Agile: Agile Application Lifecycle Management
This section discusses the features available only in Codebeamer AGILE , the Agile ALM focused edition of Codebeamer
Agile Planning
This section covers all aspects of agile planning such as defining releases, breaking releases into sprints, creating new user stories, tasks, tests and so on. In a nutshell, this section provides a comprehensive view of the status of your work items or project at a given instance.
Planner
Planner is the primary interface in Codebeamer that supports all aspects of planning:
Define releases
Break releases into sprints (sub-releases)
Define the work to do:
Create new work items (user stories, tasks, tests ) or update existing items
Move work items from backlogs to concrete releases or sprints and vice-versa
Prioritize work
Assign work to team members
Estimate work using Story Points
The planner can be successfully used with agile and other methodologies. More traditional methodologies like Waterfall or V -model can leverage the quick interactions in Planner to define the release schedule , define and assign work , and so on.
