Copy Work Item Link
The Copy Work Item Link action gives users the ability to copy a work item link with a single click from the work item details screen. This action is available only on the work item details page. It is not supported on the editable work item page to avoid saving an inconsistent URL on the clipboard. Copy works both with versioned and baseline mode.
The action is available on the work item detail page in the following locations:
• From the link icon

on the breadcrumb trail: There is a link icon

on the breadcrumb trail. When the user hovers over the link icon, the icon's color changes, and the mouse pointer indicates that a user action is available by clicking the icon, and a tooltip shows off that there is a keyboard shortcut for the feature.
• From the More menu: The same functionality is available in the More menu before Reference View Settings option, where it goes with Copy Work Item Link label and the same tooltip appears.
• Shortcut: The Alt + W keyboard shortcut is also available for this action.
Notification
A notification appears on the tracker item page when the to show whether the link has been copied to the clipboard or some error has occurred, and the notification disappears automatically after a few seconds.
