Global audit
• Introduced the following Permissions event types in the Codebeamer audit log for system administrators: Group Assign, Group Remove, User Create, User Disable, and User Enable. The system administrator can search for enabled and disabled users with User Enable and User Disable event types.
• Introduced a new search parameter, Target Users, that enables the system administrator to specify the usernames impacted by the selected events.

Project audit
Introduced an Audit Trail tab at the project administrator level that enables a project administrator to view the configuration change history of the entire project. In the search parameters, the project administrator can specify the trackers, the entities such as Baseline, Field, Permission, Tracker, and Workflow, and the date range. Improved user interface (incremental)
Modernized the existing user interface to meet the next generation requirements.
• Introduced a wizard to simplify the review creation process. For more information, see Review creation.
• Enhanced screens for Review Listing, Statistics, Review History, and Review Finishing. For more information, see All Reviews Page and Reviewing Items.
• Introduced the capability for moderators to create actionable items from comments on the review item. For more information, see Creating Actionable Items from Review Findings.

Review administration enhancements
Introduced the Review Administration group permission that enables a review administrator to do the following:
• View all open reviews across projects.
• Acquire the moderator role for an open review to move the review forward, if the original moderator is not available.
• Cancel reviews and view all canceled reviews.

Protect tracker configuration
• Added the ability to safely copy tracker configurations to avoid data loss and data corruption. For more information, see Copying Configurations into Working-Sets and Project Configuration Deployment Across Codebeamer Instances.
• Added the ability for system administrators to lock and unlock trackers to protect tracker configuration. For more information, see Locking a Tracker.
• Introduced automatic locking of deployed trackers. Introduced a new property to disable automatic locking of deployed trackers.
• Introduced changes to user permissions for modifying tracker configurations in working sets. For more information, see Working-Sets.

Baselines in releases
• Introduced a new feature to create baselines in releases.
• Added the ability to generate release notes in baseline view.
• Added pagination support on the Release Dashboard.
• Introduced a new property to configure the number of items displayed on the Release Dashboard.

Searching wiki text fields with formatted text
Introduced a COMPLETE TEXT SEARCH option to search for formatted text (with markup) within wiki fields such as Description or custom wiki text fields. For more information, see Searching Wiki Text Fields.

Export to Word
Improved the Export to Word functionality. The exported Word document has been optimized to decrease file size and has usability improvements for documents with complex and rich content. The exported file can be opened in Microsoft Word and similar editors such as Google Docs.

Basic previews
Added a PreviewConfig parameter in Application Configuration that allows Codebeamer DPT customers to request and view basic previews from applications such as Windchill PLM (including older versions). For more information, see Client Guide.

Extend background operations
Introduced background jobs to prevent long running operations from timing out. The following operations now have a background job:
• Export of Coverage Browser statistics, tracker items, and traceability report to Microsoft Excel.
• Mass Edit feature.
The status of the background job is displayed in the user interface and users are notified about the status through emails.

User interface and language support
Introduced the capability for users to directly navigate from the Codebeamer X User Interface to the Codebeamer User Interface.
Provided support for the Codebeamer User Interface and documentation in the Korean and Chinese languages.
