When reusing a test step from one test case to another, the reuse references are automatically maintained by the test case editor when such test case is changed.

It is possible to trace these references in the traceability browser. To do this, check the Show Test Step Reuse References check box.

Similarly, the reuse references can be tracked in the Traceability section in the item details page of the test case if the Show Test Step Reuse References check box is selected.
