Saving and Managing Inline Applicability Expressions
You can save and manage applicability expressions in Arbortext Editorusing the Save and Open Saved options available in the Apply Inline Applicability dialog box.
To save an applicability expression for reuse in future authoring sessions, click Save in the Apply Inline Applicability dialog box. The Save Expression dialog box opens. In this dialog, you can use the default Option Set name or enter a custom name in the Saved Expression Group Name field. This name is used to group saved expressions. Repeat this step to save additional expressions as required.
To view the previously saved expression(s), click Open Saved in the Apply Inline Applicability dialog box. The Manage Saved Expressions dialog box opens. A dropdown displays all saved Option Set. The system defaults to the current Option Set, but you can select another desired set from the list. The Saved Expression list displays expressions grouped under that set. Select the required expression and click Use to add it to the Logical Expression list. Click Delete to remove expressions that are no longer needed. If all expressions in an Option Set are deleted, the Option Set name is automatically removed when the dialog box is closed.
Saved expressions are stored in a system-generated file called SavedApplicabilityExpressions, located in the same directory as the arbortext.wcf file.
The default location is C:Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\PTC\Arbortext\Editor\.
You can share this file if required. This file is managed automatically and does not require manual editing.
