This request function is mapped to the Java class com.arbortext.e3.FunctionJavascript. It allocates an Sottoprocesso Arbortext PE and invokes a Applicazione Arbortext PE written in JavaScript, returning whatever response the Applicazione Arbortext PE generates.

The JavaScript Applicazione Arbortext PE to be run is identified by the function parameter, which must specify the name of the JavaScript function to be invoked. All other query parameters, along with the rest of the HTTP request, are passed to the Applicazione Arbortext PE for processing. The JavaScript function must be listed in the Allowed Function List (see The Allowed Functions List) in e3config.xml or the Arbortext PE Request Manager will return an error message.
