An Application Arbortext PE is a program written in Arbortext Command Language (ACL), Java, JavaScript, or VBScript that runs in an Sous-processus Arbortext PE. The Arbortext PE Request Manager invokes an Sous-processus Arbortext PE to run an Application Arbortext PE when it receives a request with HTTP query parameters specifying the application language and a function or class name. The Arbortext PE Request Manager passes the entire HTTP request to the Application Arbortext PE. The application is responsible for constructing a complete HTTP response and returning the response to the Arbortext PE Request Manager which returns it to the HTTP client.
