You can specify subprocessEnvironment to have Arbortext Publishing Engine set the environment variables of the Subprocesos de Arbortext PE. To ensure that Subprocesos de Arbortext PE have the expected values for environment variables, set them using the subprocessEnvironment parameter for each Subproceso de Arbortext PE pool in the e3config.xml.

If you are using the Tomcat servlet container, be aware that newer versions clear some environment variables, such as CLASSPATH, and then set them to values needed by Tomcat prior to starting the Tomcat servlet container.

Any other variables in the Arbortext Publishing Engine environment are passed to its Subprocesos de Arbortext PE unchanged.
