Desktop Composer Option
The Desktop Composer option provides publishing capabilities, including:
• Printing formatted documents.
• Previewing documents — displays the pages on screen the same way they will appear on paper.
• PDF support — Arbortext Editor creates PDF files with preserved linking information.
• Custom Touchup — This feature lets you customize Touchup processing instruction attributes.
• Generating HTML files that you can post to a Web server or a local file system.
• Automatically generating text such as tables of contents and indexes.
• Viewing documents published for the Web using a standard Web browser.
• Generating HTML Help.
When the Desktop Composer option is installed and licensed, the following menu commands may be enabled:

Additional application development work is required to configure customized document types for use with the Desktop Composer.
