JVM Not Delivered with Arbortext Editor
Arbortext Editor does not ship with Java Development Kit (JDK). You must obtain JDK from Oracle (
https://www.java.com) or from Amazon and install it.
Arbortext Editor will work with Oracle Java 21 and Amazon Corretto 21.
Several product features rely on the embedded JVM:
• All publishing features that use XSL stylesheets
• Java AOM/DOM interface, including the Java Console (available from the Tools menu, or you can use the java_console function)
• PTC Server Connection
To see the current Java VM Version being used by Arbortext Editor, select > > to open the Arbortext Java Console.
