Repairing an Installation
If you need to repair the Arbortext Editor installation, do the following:
1. Open Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features.
2. In the list of programs, right-click PTC Arbortext Editor and select Change.
3. The Modify Setup dialog box opens. Click Repair.
This reinstalls all software features that were installed by the initial installation.
Arbortext Editor Installation Repair Limitation
When you repair an installation, PTC Creo View Express is installed, even if it was not selected during the initial installation. If you do not want to install PTC Creo View Express, you can do one of the following:
• UninstallPTC Creo View Express after the repair. Open Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features, right-click PTC Creo View Express and select Uninstall.
OR
• UninstallArbortext Editor and reinstall it. To uninstall you can do one of the following:
◦ Run EditorSetup.exe and select Uninstall.
◦ Open Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features, right-click PTC Arbortext Editor and select Uninstall.
