Disabling Touchup and FOSI Editing in a Document Type
By default, the Touchup submenu ( > ) and the FOSI Editor are automatically enabled for a document type. The Touchup submenu allows authors to change formatting at the document level, including adding page and line breaks, changing font characteristics, and adding custom formatting. The FOSI Editor allows authors to create and edit FOSI stylesheets.
To restrict access to these features, you must disable them in the document type's .dcf file.
To disable touchup and FOSI editing:
1. Open Arbortext Architect.
2. Choose > .
3. Locate the directory in which the document type whose .dcf file you want to modify is saved, and click Select.
4. Once the document type is loaded, choose > . If the document type has a .dcf file, it displays in the Arbortext ArchitectDCF Editor window. If there is no .dcf file associated with this document type, Arbortext Architect automatically creates one.
5. Locate the Options element in the DCF Editor. If the file doesn't include an Options element, add one.
