Renaming, Moving, and Removing a Document
To rename, remove, or move a document to another directory, use the appropriate Windows menu option or feature. Refer to your Windows operating system documentation for additional information.
If you rename a document file at the operating system level, we recommend that you use the .sgm file extension to indicate an SGML document. This is the default extension assumed by Arbortext Editor.
If you rename a document file at the operating system level, we recommend that you use the .xml file extension to indicate an XML document. (This is the default extension assumed by Arbortext Editor.)

Renaming a graphic file or file entity file that has been referenced in your document can cause a problem when Arbortext Editor needs to locate these files. For Arbortext Editor to find a file, you must change the reference to that file name in your document to the new file name.
