Printing an Editor view in Windows
If you can enhance a stylesheet to create a custom version, you may be using a customized stylesheet. Be sure to check that the active stylesheet is one that is compatible with your printer, and will produce the output that you expect.
Choose > to display the Print Editor View dialog box, which allows you to specify settings in these sections:
• Select Printer — Lists installed printers. Choose the one you wish to use. Under the list of printers, the status, location, and any system comments for the active printer are displayed.
◦ Print to File — Prints directly to a file instead of a printer. You will be prompted to enter the name of the file when you press
OK. See
Printing to a file for more information.
◦ Preferences — Opens a dialog box in which additional printer properties can be specified. These settings are printer-dependent.
◦ Find Printer — Opens the Find Printers dialog box where you can locate a printer installed on your network.
• Choose the Page Range you want to print:
◦ All — Prints the entire document.
◦ Pages — Prints the range of pages that you specify in the entry box.
• Number of copies — This setting specifies how many copies of the document (or portion of the document) to print. If you choose multiple copies, check Collate to collate the copies during printing.
