Spanning Cells
Spanning cells combines two or more cells in a table. The contents of the spanned cells is preserved and distributed across the newly combined cell.

Spanning cell operations are not applicable to custom tables.

1. Select the cells you want to span. You may select several cells either vertically, horizontally, or a combination of both.
2. Choose > .
3. To unspan one or more spanned cells, select the cells, then, choose > . All of the combined content will be displayed in the upper left cell.
