To increase processing speed of Arbortext Editor, choose View > Generated Text > No Auto-Updates. This optimizes performance by allowing other processes to complete more quickly.

The automatic update of generated text also affects how quickly Arbortext Editor can open documents. If you are opening a large document the time to open the document can be decreased significantly by setting View > Generated Text > No Auto-Updates, and unchecking View > Generated Text > Show.
