The default Arbortext Editor window has the Document Map in the left pane of the window and the Edit view in the right pane. To close the Document Map, click the Document Map button on the toolbar.

To display the Document Map, click the Document Map button again. Note that if Column view is configured for your document type, this button cycles through the display of the Edit view, the Document Map, and Column view.
