In this dialog box, you can borrow a license that will allow you to work offline. The license server that provides your license while you are connected to the network can send you a temporary license that allows you to run Arbortext Editor (and other optional components that are licensed for your site) when you are away from the network. Licenses available for you to borrow are listed under Available.

Highlight the component under Available that you want to borrow a license for, and then choose the license duration in the Borrow license for box. The expiration date and time for the duration is displayed after Expires at. The maximum duration period is set by your license administrator. Click the right arrow between the Available and Borrowed lists to move the highlighted component to the Borrowed list. If you change your mind, you can return the component to the Available list by clicking the left arrow. In the Borrowed list, the component displays (Pending) until you click Apply to obtain the license.

The borrowed license will be automatically released when it expires. If you need to continue working offline after the license expires, you must reconnect to the network and borrow another license.
