This configuration option in the e3config.xml file specifies the scheme used to determine how information about publishing request transaction is redacted in case of a user who is not the originator of the transaction or is not an administrator.

The data fields for which redact value is true, are redacted in the Queued Transactions dialog box.

This is an optional configuration. If it is removed from the e3config.xml file, then a user can see only the transaction requests made by that particular user.
