You can create a DTD from scratch or you can modify an existing DTD to create a new DTD. You can use a document type distributed with Arbortext Editor, or use a document type from another source.

If you want to begin with an installed DTD, you can copy it and make your desired changes. If you want to use a DTD from another source, you can import it.
