Use the APTOBJCFG environment variable to specify a custom location for your burst configuration files. The specified location must be on a conventional file system, not in the PTC Server. Create the desired folder and move the burst configuration files to the new location.

Set the APTOBJCFG environment variable to the location of the folder containing the burst configuration files. Do not end the specified folder path with a trailing slash. In the following examples, the first line sets the burst configuration folder to a local or home directory. The second line sets the burst configuration folder to a remote non-PTC Server.
