Setting the Default Locale for the PTC サーバー接続
You can specify the default locale for the PTC サーバー接続 to use when communicating with a PTC Server. For example, the default locale determines the PTC Server folder names displayed in the PTC サーバー接続.
The default locale is determined by the setting of the PRO_LANG environment variable. If you do not set the PRO_LANG environment variable, the en-us locale is used instead. Set PRO_LANG to one of the following values to indicate the default locale:
Default Locale
Value
English (US)
en-us
English (UK)
en-gb
Chinese (Simplified)
zh-cn
Chinese (Traditional)
zh-tw
French
fr
German
de
Italian
it
Japanese
ja
Korean
ko
Spanish
es
If the locale you need is not listed in this table, you can also use the locale setting that your web browser uses to access the localized PTC Server HTML interface. For example, if your PTC Server has a Dutch language pack installed, the Mozilla Firefox browser would use the nl locale setting to access the Dutch version of the HTML interface. In this case, you would set PRO_LANG to nl to enable Arbortext Editor to access the PTC Server's Dutch content.
If you need to change the default locale, you must also delete the cache directory defined in the WindchillAdapterHomeDir parameter in the PTC サーバー接続's userprefs.xml configuration file. Follow these steps to change the default locale:
1. In Arbortext Editor, check in or upload any unsaved documents to the PTC Server.
2. Close Arbortext Editor.
If you invoked Arbortext Editor from a command shell (for example, by using the editor.exe file from a Windows Command Prompt window), you must also close any open command shells.
3. Delete the PTC サーバー接続 cache directory.
4. Change the PRO_LANG environment variable to the new default locale.
5. Invoke Arbortext Editor.
The new locale is now used to communicate with the PTC Server.
