Window Menu Introduction
The Window menu helps manage your Arbortext Editor windows in the current session. It contains the following options:
New Window — Opens a new Arbortext Editor window in addition to the currently open window.
Cascade — Moves all open Arbortext Editor windows to the upper left corner of the screen and positions them so that you can conveniently switch between them without totally hiding any one window.
No Split — Turns split window into single-pane window. The pane that had the focus remains open.
Left-Right Split — Splits a single-pane window or top-bottom split window into two side-by-side panes.
Top-Bottom Split — Splits a single-pane window or side-by-side split window into panes, one above and one below.
Default Window Configuration — Resets Arbortext Editor's window configuration using the default values.
The bottom of the Window menu contains a list of all open Arbortext Editor windows, with a check mark next to the window that has the current focus. You can select one of the windows in the list to bring it to the front of all open Arbortext Editor windows.
