Equation EditorFile Menu
The File menu provides commands that affect the entire equation.
• Save Document saves changes made in the Equation Editor without leaving the Equation Editor window.
• Save Configuration allows you to save the current Palette configuration.
It writes a configuration file called .apteqn.cf in your application data directory which can be edited to modify keymappings and even the menus. The application data directory is the directory where your operating system stores user-specific data. This is usually C:\Document and Settings\user_name\Application Data\PTC\Arbortext\Editor.
• Close returns you to the main document where your equation will appear as a graphic between tags describing the form it was saved as, either inline or display.
If you close without saving, you'll be prompted whether or not to save the changes you've made.
