Placing the Cursor for Inserting Text
By requiring all text to be entered between markup tag pairs, Arbortext Editor can check the context of all insertions at the following locations:
Those that only allow text
Those that only allow markup
Those that allow markup containing text and/or markup tags
For example, your document type may use section markup, which defines the structure of a chapter section. The section allows only markup tags or markup tags containing text, such as title or paragraph tags. If you place the cursor between the section markup pair and try to type text, an error message appears: “Insertion of text not allowed in this context.”
You can enter text for the title between a title tag pair (which defines the type of title). However, only markup used to modify the title text is permitted inside the title tags. You cannot insert paragraph tags inside title tags, because paragraph markup has nothing to do with titles and your document type prohibits it. Also, you cannot insert text or paragraph tags between the section start tag and the title tags if the title tags are required to be the first markup after the section start tag.
The paragraph tag pair could be inserted after the title end tag with the paragraph text entered inside the tags.
