Using the set Options for Arbortext PE server
As an alternative, you can continue to use the Arbortext Publishing Engine set options peserverurlpeservices to manage your connection to the sever if you prefer.
1. Choose > and click the Advanced button.
2. Next, choose the peserverurl option from the list. Edit the option value and specify the URL for your Arbortext PE Request Manager. The URL will look something like the following:
http://server.mycompany.com:8000/e3/servlet/e3
You can use either HTTP or HTTPS for the URL, depending on your site's Arbortext Publishing Engine implementation. The URL then specifies the server, port number, and unique Arbortext Publishing Engine servlet specification as configured by the web application server or servlet container where Arbortext Publishing Engine is installed. If you don't know the URL for your Arbortext PE Request Manager, ask your Arbortext Publishing Engine administrator.
3. Choose the peservices option from the list. Check the box for on to use Arbortext Publishing Engine publishing (setting it to off uses local publishing, such as for Arbortext Styler).
4. Close the Advanced Preferences dialog box, and then click OK to exit the Preferences dialog box.
