You can choose to have inline applicability items highlighted with color shading. When shading is active, applicability items (e.g. choices) are highlighted in the applicability dialog boxes. Elements that include an applicability setting are highlighted in the same way in Edit view of the current document.

To activate color shading, use the command set showprofileshading=on.

The default color is lime. You can use the inlineapplicabilitycolor set option as a command or as an advanced preference to change the color.
