Arbortext Editor Changes
Changes in PTC Server Connection Logging
The 8.1.2.0 release of Arbortext Editor has made changes to the method of logging the interactions between Editor and PTC server. You can enable logging by updating the file <Editor/PE_Home\lib\resources\log4j2.xml. You can set the log level in com.ptc.prowt.arbortext logger. The environment variable APTWCLOGFILE is now removed. The parameter WindchillAdapterLogFile in userprefs.xml is now removed.
New Parameter in siteprefs.xml
A new authentication parameter ServerAuthenticationTypes is added to the siteprefs_template.xml. This parameter specifies the required information about the PTC servers that is needed before authentication. When you are using an SSO-enabled PTC Server with Arbortext Editor, ensure that the server is set as FBA in the ServerAuthenticationTypes parameter.

The graphics applications included with Arbortext Editor has been updated:
The Creo View and pview_batch installation has been updated to 8.0.
