Insert Animation Link Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to indicate the animation sequence in an intelligent graphic that you want to start when the link is selected. An intelligent graphic can have several animations defined in its graphic file for different objects within the graphic. Note that this dialog box is named Modify Animation Link when it is opened from the Modify Link dialog box. It is named Add Animation Link when it is opened from the Add Link dialog box.
The Insert Animation Link dialog box contains the following options:
Arbortext IsoView control — Displays the intelligent graphic.
The control has the following buttons that enable you to view an animation sequence defined in the graphic:
Start AnimationThis is an image of a black triangle pointing to the right. — Starts the animation sequence selected in the Animation option.
Stop AnimationThis is an image of a black rectangle.
— Stops the currently playing animation sequence.
Rewind AnimationThis is an image of a black vertical line with a black triangle to the right side of the line. — Returns the currently playing animation sequence to the beginning.
Object — Determines the object in the intelligent graphic that contains the animation to which you want to link.
Objects defined in an intelligent graphic can be identified by either an ID or a name. An ID is only associated with one object in the graphic. A name can be associated with multiple objects. Select ID to view the IDs for the objects in the graphic that have animations associated with them. Select Name to view the names for the objects in the graphic that have animations associated with them.
The object you select is highlighted in the Arbortext IsoView control.
Animation — Determines the animation sequence associated with the selected object that will start when the link is selected.
You can view the selected animation in the Arbortext IsoView control.
Insert — Inserts the link and closes the dialog box.
Note that when this button is named Modify on the Modify Animation Link dialog box. In this case, the link is modified when you click the button. It is named Add on the Add Animation Link dialog box. In this case, the link is added to the Links table in the Update Graphic Object Links dialog box.
