This environment variable specifies where Arbortext Publishing Engine temporary files will be created.

If Arbortext Publishing Engine is running as the SERVICE user and you are publishing Windchill Service Information Manager bundles, you must set APTPESUBTMPDIR to a folder where temporary files can be created.
