Perl
In this release and in future releases, Perl will not be installed as part of the software installation. If a native Arbortext Print Publisher or Arbortext Layout Developer template is being used which requires Perl, then you need to install the Perl.
To install the Perl:
1. Ensure that a version 5.8.9 of Perl installation is available on the same machine.
2. Use the -R command line argument to point to the installed Perl DLL by adding or editing the sargsw.3ad or sargs.3ad file in the Arbortext Print Publisher subfolder of the Arbortext Publishing Engine installation.
