New for Styler 8.1.0.0 is the ability to style certain elements as ‘multimedia’. This is different from ‘graphic’ as multimedia requires different settings. To support this, a new style type has been added to Styler, Multimedia, and a new formatting category available for items styled with that type. This document will provide information on how to use these settings and options.

For this release, Styler publishing will support MP4 for video and MP3 for audio.

Also supported in this release is the ability to use U3D graphics when publishing to PDF. U3D is one of the 3D graphic formats supported by PDF and is also an export type supported by Creo Illustrate.

This release will require a stylesheet update and users will be asked to perform this when they open stylesheets in this version.
