Share Properties Dialog Box
The Share Properties dialog box opens when you select > in Arbortext Editor. Use this dialog to indicate where to save a selected part of a document in the repository. The selection is stored in the repository and replaced by a reference to the new object in the open document.
The Share Properties dialog box contains the following options:
• Name — Enables you to enter the name of the new object.
• Folder — Enables you to specify the folder where the object will be stored in the repository.
You can change the default folder with the Change Default Folder option.
• Keep objects checked out — Indicates whether the new object should be checked out for editing once it is created.

If the Keep objects checked out option is not checked, the new document object that appears in the Edit view will be read-only.

• Change Default Folder — Enables you to change the default folder where new objects are created.
Selecting this option invokes the
Browser. Highlight a folder in the
Browser and select
Use Selection to change the default folder.
