Specify the location of an alternative Perl installation to support the PTC ALD print engine functionality supplied with an PTC Arbortext environment that includes Arbortext Styler or Arbortext Publishing Engine. Define the path to the root folder of the desired Perl installation, where that root folder must contain a \bin subdirectory containing the Perl DLL perl58.dll. If this variable is specified it will be used as the preferred Perl engine. If the variable is not set, or is given an incorrect value, however, the system will work through the following alternatives until it is successful:
