Creating a New Document
Follow these steps to create a new document:
1. Choose File > New.
The New Document dialog box opens.
2. In the New Document dialog box, select DocBook in the Category list and Arbortext XML DocBook V4.0 in the Type list and then click OK.
An Arbortext XML DocBook template is loaded into the Arbortext Editor window. The template includes tags that are pre-populated in your document. Your template may differ slightly from the template used in this book.
3. Save your document by choosing File > Save.
The Save As dialog box opens.
4. In the File Name field, type mydocument.
5. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the document and click Save.
By default, Arbortext Editor saves new documents in the directory that was last used.
Arbortext Editor saves your new document in the folder you selected.
