Button Entries
It is easiest to add buttons to the Palette interactively using F3. You can then save them using the Save configuration command under the File menu. In a few cases this may not be possible. The following information is provided for use in those situations.

A button has three components: its label, its position, and its text or command. Only the text or command is required; the other components are optional. The size of the button is governed by the size of its label, if specified; otherwise by its image as determined by its text or command.
The SGML used by the text component corresponds to the set of Mathematical symbols established by the American Association of Publishers (AAP), ISO 8879.
