Selecting Equation Text
To edit equation text, you need to select (highlight) the text.
1. In the Equation Editor window, position the marker by pointing to the left-most character and clicking. This outlines the current character, which you must do before you can highlight it.
2. Point to the right-most character, press and hold the SHIFT key and click, highlighting the selected text.
*
You can select text from right to left in the same manner.
3. To highlight any text surrounded by a dotted-line marker, press and hold the SHIFT key, and click inside the marker.
Once the region is highlighted, you can copy or cut it, make it into a Palette button, or insert a larger construct around it.
