Positioning Graphics
1. Place the cursor to the right of the graphic markup tag.
2. Choose Edit > Modify Attributes.
3. Use the fields in the Modify Attributes dialog box to position the graphics.
Vertical offset amount can be a positive or negative amount. Positive amounts offset upward relative to the text baseline. Negative values offset downward. Enter a number followed by a unit of measurement, for example, 3pi, 35mm-1pt, 0.45in + 2pt, 1cm. Generally, either the vertical offset amount or vertical offset percent element is defined in a DTD. If your DTD defined both, and both are set in the dialog box, vertical offset percent is given priority.
Vertical offset percent can be a positive or negative integer. The percentage is based on the height of the graphic (a setting of 50 would equal one half, or 50%, of the height of the graphic). Positive percentages offset up, relative to the text baseline. Negative percentages offset down. Generally, either the vertical offset amount or vertical offset percent element is defined in a DTD. If your DTD defined both, and both are set in the dialog box, vertical offset percent is given priority.
