Differences between the Standard and Lightweight User Interface Menus
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following menus do not appear on the menu bar:
• Find
• Entities
• Window
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following commands do not appear on the File menu:
• Save as XML/SGML
• Save All
• Revert to Saved
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following commands do not appear on the Edit menu:
• Delete
• Delete All Attributes
• Modify Processing Instruction
• Select Element Content
• Select Element
• Split
• Join
• Edit Selection as XML Source
In addition, the lightweight user interface Edit menu differs from the standard user interface Edit menu in the following ways:
• Delete Markup is renamed Delete Element
• Change Markup is renamed Change Element
• Find/Replace appears, with the same functionality as the Find/Replace command from the Find menu of the standard user interface.
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following commands do not appear on the View menu:
• Collapse Element Content
• Collapse Division Content, where Division is replaced by the current parent division
• Collapse/Expand Divisions
• Full Tags
• Partial Tags
• No Tags
• Text Entities
• File Entities
• Ignored Sections
• Graphics
• Reload Graphic
• Generated Text
• Change Tracking
In addition, the lightweight user interface View menu differs from the standard user interface View menu in the following ways:
• Document Map toggles the display of the Document Map.
• Toolbars toggles the display of the lightweight user interface toolbar.
• Tags toggles between full tags and no tags.
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following commands do not appear on the Insert menu:
• Display Equation
• Inline Equation
• CDATA Section
• Template Field
• File
• File Reference
In addition, the lightweight user interface Insert menu differs from the standard user interface Insert menu in the following ways:
• Markup is renamed Element.
• Symbol appears, with the same functionality as the Symbol command from the Entities menu of the standard user interface.
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following command does not appear on the Table menu:
• Split Grid
When the lightweight user interface is active, the following command does not appear on the Tools menu:
• IDs and ID References
• Document Type Viewer
• Tag Templates
