Inserting Tags from the Command Line
To insert tags from the command line use the insert_tag (it) command:
1. If the command line is not displayed, go to the Tools > Preferences dialog box. Choose the Window category and turn on the Command Line preference.
2. Place the cursor where you want the tag pair to appear.
3. Move the cursor to the command line (or press F6).
4. Type ittagname (where tagname is the name of the tag).
*
If you have applied an alias map to your document, tagname can be an alias or a real name.
5. Press ENTER.
*
If the tag is out of context, a status bar message will indicate that it cannot be inserted.
