Changing Case
You can change the case of selected text to uppercase, lowercase, sentence case (change the case of the first letter of the first word at the beginning of a sentence to uppercase), and title case (change the case of the first letter of each selected word to uppercase).
To change text to uppercase:
1. Highlight a section of text that you want to make uppercase.
*
If no selection or highlighting of text is made in the Edit window, capitalization of the word to the right of the cursor is changed.
2. Choose Edit > Change Case > UPPERCASE.
3. The text you selected becomes all uppercase.
To change text to sentence case:
To capitalize the first letter in the first word of each sentence in a highlighted paragraph.
1. Choose Edit > Change Case > Sentence case.
2. The first letter of the first word in each sentence becomes uppercase.
To change text to title case:
You may want to capitalize the first letter in every word in a sentence or phrase — for a title, for example.
1. Highlight a series of words in a sentence.
2. Choose Edit > Change Case > Title Case.
3. The first letter of each word becomes uppercase.
