Equation Editor Palette
The Palette provides quick access to frequently used mathematical symbols, constructs, spaces, and fonts. In general, the Palette comes up automatically when the Equation Editor is opened.
*
The Equation Editor configuration file, apteqn.cf, controls whether the Palette comes up automatically.
It is often faster to enter symbols from the Palette than by choosing them from the Equation Editor menus, particularly for frequently used symbols or when pullright menus are required. You can also add and delete buttons on the Palette to better meet your particular needs.
Options on the Palette can be cut, copied, and pasted in the same way as math options selected from the menu bar.
