Working with Non-Latin Language Content
You can include text content in the following languages in your document:
Chinese
Japanese
Korean
Hebrew
Arabic
Thai
If you intend to simply include characters in these languages in your document you can add content to your document and publish the final output as usual.
Certain features allow for text in these languages to be formatted and output in ways particular to the language. Whilst some of these features are available in Arbortext Editor, some can only be configured in an Arbortext Styler stylesheet (.style file) and as such will only be available to you if your environment includes Arbortext Styler. The table below describes the features that support the formatting of non-Latin language content, and confirms the PTC Arbortext product in which these can be configured/used. In certain cases the formatting can only be displayed in certain output formats, or should be generated by previewing or publishing via a certain print engine for best results. The table describes all these situations.
