Changing Fonts in the Equation Editor
There are nine different fonts from which to choose on the
Equation Editor Format menu.
To type characters in roman font:
1. From the Equation Editor menu bar, choose > > , or, on the Palette, press the Roman button.
2. Type in the desired characters.
To return to previous font:
To get out of Roman mode and return to the previous type style:
1. Press F5 until the entire Roman construct is surrounded.
2. Continue your work.
To change the font of existing characters:
1. Select a series of existing characters.
2. Click the right-mouse button and choose Cut from the shortcut menu.
3. From the menu bar, choose Format→ Font→Roman (or Italic or Calligraphic).
4. Paste the highlighted region back into the equation. The selected characters reappear in the desired font.
