Creating a Sample Demo Document
Usually you create a template and then create a sample demo document based on the same template.
*
Save the demo document in the document type directory.
There are three ways to create a sample demo document:
Make changes to the template file, and then save it as a demo file.
Create the sample demo document in the demo file.
Make sample demo documents for currently installed document types.
To create a sample document #1:
1. From Arbortext Architect, choose Edit > Test Document and Stylesheet and open the template document template.sgm.
2. From the menu bar, choose File > Save As. Enter the file name demo.sgm. (This overwrites the initially created demo.sgm file.)
3. Enter text, graphics, tables, etc., to create a demo document for the document type.
4. Close template.sgm without saving sample demo changes.
5. After you finish the sample demo document, install it.
To create a sample demo document #2:

4. Save and exit demo.sgm when done.
5. After you finish the sample demo document, install it.
